Default Antiques Roadshow

I love this programme, its just easy to watch on a Sunday night. I love it when the presenter starts talking about the value and you see the persons eyes light up for a split second before exclaiming the value is not of importance.... Yeh right!

What programmes do you find relaxing to watch?

I love AR. have done for years. I especially love the paintings, as there is always a great air of expectation.

For me at the moment, I just love Strictly Come Dancing, and cannot wait for it to come back.

I would enjoy it more, if I knew half of the 'celebrities'.

I too love Antiques Roadshow. I wish we could find something in the attic that turned out to be worth a fortune!

Adore AR, I still dream of finding that Faberge egg, lost my the last Tsarina during their capture by the Bolsheviks.
You know covered in grime at a boot sale for 50p.

I've got an antique lemon squeezer but it's made of wood and and in the vague shape of a lemon with a screw down bit on the top but some of the thread is broken. I wonder if that would be worth anything? I could be sitting on a little goldmine for all I know. Highly unlikely though.

Thumbs up Re: Antiques Roadshow

If you like antiques? try a fun day out at Hartley's Auction Rooms in Ilkley on the 13th February, we have bought many items at this similar type of sale room and then sold them on at a profit?
