I love Edwardian and Art Deco furniture and once bought some really nice dining chairs from a seller in Cornwall . Unfortunately they were full of woodworm so had to get them out of the house so not to contaminate the house! My son had a barbecue in my back yard whilst i was away and used my art deco small tables to rest the grill on resulting in them being set on fire ! I wont throw them out but half of the tops on them will need replacing so plan to get some cheap venier and maybe mosaic them? One of my family heirloom s which is a lovely balloon chair was sat on by a big person and there is now a large break in the frame! Taking alot of the value off it ! it saddens me to see it now, one day i will get it repaired . Thats when i have the cash. Has anyone else had such bad luck with their antiques?
