x box or play station

my lad wants a game console for Christmas the last one i had was the original Nintendo but things have moved on i guess,

so which one do you reckon x box or play station,

do Nintendo still do one?

I have had an xbox360 for nearly a year now and I like it.

There is a new nintendo console (the wii) coming out in December if you want to wait and see that.

Wii is not a console.. I mean, yes it is but this is a 'invention' - not something with u can spend a night with friends or smth (imo). But maybe it will suit in your needs so u should read more about this.

And about xbox360 and ps2 - tehnically xbox is better, but not this count, right? I think that if u choose ps2 or xbox360 u (or she) would have the same fun - both of them offer really much. Nowadays if someone choose a console for games chose it usually by sentiment not smth else.

I was at my sisters today and her son has decided he wants an xbox. When i said wot about the wii do u not want that one - he said no i want the xbox.

Wii is the second generation console from Nintendo funded by sony which is going to have all the good games that you wont be able to get on X-Box or PS. For example Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles ECT.

Playstation is much better, I got a PSP for christmas and im never ceased to be amazed.

I wondered where Nintendo went. So we have wii, ps3 and xbox360 in consoles and psp in hand helds.
What else is there.
I bought my xbox off ebay, £51 pounds with 9 games and from a smoke free homewhich means its like new. I won a ps2 too but when I emailed to get the collection address they claimed they'd never set the auction up. So I'm still after one of those.
The xbox is lovely and saving straight to the hard drives saves messing about with data cards. I've used a ps2 in the past and it was more prone to save failures than i'd like, also the graphics don't seem as good as a ps2.
I'd be interested to see how the new consoles compare graphics wise.
