Wireless Networking

Anyone here use this setup? Had fun with mine, but got my head around it easily enough and of course enabled security.

It's amazing, whilst installing mine I noticed 2 other connections that let me connect to them which were not even mine. People need to enable their security settings.

Currently using a Linksys router for 3 computers.

My daughter uses it in London, and it is very hit and miss. When it's cold it is worse. We are way out in the sticks and I don't fancy using it until it is more stable.

Will not use that, just use wireless networking at home so all can connect at once with no wires. Just plugs straight into the broadband modem.

Will be glad to use it. The amount of wires with two pooters side by side and assorted peripherals is unreal. Hubby is convinced they move. No matter how neat you leave them an orgy has ensued in your absence!!

i use it.i live in Portugal and i am replying to this while i am sat beside the swimming pool.the gadget i,ve got just slots into the side of my laptop,it,s called Globetrotter 3G,anybody heard of it,i think it,s fantastic.ps,what,s the weather like in Burnley

coming over to Burnley in May for a week just to get depressed,then it,s back over here for 51 weeks to make myself better,it,s a dogs life innit

I use wireless too, flippin brilliant, feet up with laptop watching tv, glass of wine..... cant beat it!

All people need to do is switch one security option on and it's safe. I can't believe that there's three networks showing up on mine and I can connect to them easily, using up all their bandwidth.

Shame I don't know who they are, i'd tell them about it.
