The Italian football is in a mess with all the bribes and violence should throw both teams out of football altogether what gets me in reading the story that is they still give the result at the end (like it mattered)

After watching the scenes last week with the Police and Man Utd fans it is disgusting how the police react TO AWAY FANS..................Why wasn't the police in the Roma end?.........United fans along with other british club fans have been impecable this season!

I am afraid it was a case of easy target, the Italian hooligans
( they aren't fans) are so nasty they have shot players dead before now, and that last policeman they killed, had almost escaped, he was in his car when they threw some kind of explosive in through the window, I understand he may already have been stabbed as well.
I think the police are now a little afraid of these thugs, and the English fans were safer to go after. Sadly it will end up with Italian teams only being allowed to play against other Italian teams.
The law is too soft to stamp it out, and the clubs too corrupt.
As a half wop azzurri fan this makes me very sad. But this has to be stopped it has already gone too far.

It is really dreadful, they should sort out the 'ultras' they are to cowardly to travel abroad as they always carry weapons of one sort or another. Italian football has really been shamed, as have the police, it saddens me to say, but I have to agree.
I just hoe the newly burgeoning rugby doesn't go the same way
