I've not read in-depth about this, I'd like to know how they came to that figure. I mean is it just the price of covering the debts or what?
Might make good business sense, but it looks a bit scary to the average fan. At least it's more money going into the club without expecting the punters to fork out more - for now.

as long as they spend some money on decent players, not that the lads aren't trying, but we need some more out there, also i used todelivr sandwiches to the lads at Gawthorpe and the place needed a lot of work, parking is terrible could take twenty minutes each way to drive to and from it. May work out in the end

Not too keen on the deal myself. Just a short term fix that could cost us the ground if not careful.I'm not a money man,I'm just a fan.
Just out of interest if the ground was sold to a developer what would it be worth?
I just know we have been in a money mess before but even then we did'nt need to do this.God knows what a team with less fans,lower down the football league and more players are doing if this happening to us.

As I say, it may be the best for BFC, but I am not too sure.
This buy back clause is certainly dependent not only on us gaining promotion soon, but also the SKY TV money still being there - this may very well be cut drastically at the next TV rights auction.
What makes it worse is that it was a smug Blackpool fan who told me - no mention at all from the club - but hey, what's new on that score.
I am no financier, and Barry Kilby has been brilliant for us in the last 5 years BUT ther PR sucks

Yeah, What's to stop the new owners selling up to a supermarket? How much
negotiation was there on the price paid?
I just hope it all works out for the best, nothing we can do now.
