Speaking purely selfishly, I don't want Big Sam to get the England job. I do quite a bit of filming up at Bolton, for their pre-match programme and programmes shown abroad and Sam is a top bloke and always good for a quote!

If he goes I don't know who will replace him, and I doubt they will be likely to be as good with the press.

I actually think he might be a bit too outspoken for the likes of the FA.

You not a fan of SC then Ollie?
I've got to say that I agree Mc.Claren is well in with the FA and will probably get the job!
I like Stuart Pearce!, but has he had enough time in managment?

It looks like the FA are after Luiz Felipe Scolari (Big Phil!) according to the radio today!
He seems to be the one!
He used to manage Brazil and got them to win the world cup! and is now the manager of Portugal!
Should the England manager be English?
To be fair all the top clubs at the moment Chelsea,Man utd,Liverpool,****nal, have'nt got an Englishman in charge!
If he's a winner will we care in a few years time?
So it seems English managers have had it when it comes to getting the top jobs!!

Scolari as he has experience at international level, world cup winner,European championship finalists, what more could you ask for!!!

Pearce - Not enough games as manager, under experienced.

Allardyce - Stay at Bolton and keep a north west team in the premiership

Curbishly - Can't see him doing any good at international level, too stuck in his ways at Charlton

Steve mcClaren - Middlesborough will not want him to go now he is in the UEFA cup final (btw what a game tonight).

I dont see what Sven has done wrong. (apart from sewing his oats). The thing with any England manager is, if the press get ahold of you, they will blame any thing on you for not winning. But i think Sam should get it. I know the papers wouldnt pick on him for sleeping around, but they might start saying its because he is always in food shops if England lose one game.

Well hold that result folks!!
Big Phil or Luiz Felipe Scolari to give him his full name! as told the FA he does'nt want the job!! He say's he's not happy with the media pressure!!
I think that's an excuse! as Brazil boss he'd be used to it! but what do you think?
So it looks like we are back to ware we started!!:(
So who ever gets the job now will be thought of as second best!
So who will be the next England manager??
I think it will now be Steve Mc,Claren
