Needed!!!!

Some good tips on how to get a baby moving. My friends daughter was due last week, and is due to go in and be induced on Saturday. This is her first baby and she wanted to go natural.

Anyone any good tips for getting this little bugger out of her cosy hiding and here so we can have a cuddle lol.

The only tips I could giver is raspberry Leaf Tea. It's supposed to soften the cervical area, and even if it doesn't induce labour it's supposed to aid birthing pains.

I have also suggested Clary Sage oil in her bath!!! NOTHING.

She has already had a membrane sweep, that was on Monday.

Any other ideas??

mel ask yee, she tried allsorts with charlie tell her to try raspberry tea, curry some sort of oil(castor i think), pressure points, sex

Clary sage and lavendar in the bath are supposed to do it, along with a bit of nipple stimulation to get the hormones into action.

she has done the TEA ^^^^^

Not so keen on the castor oil thing. It can make the baby pass maconium which isn't good news.

There are pressure points in your ankles that can set labour off.....I know that. And the Nipples, because when a baby is breast feeding, it makes your tummy contract.

tell ya this little bugger doesn't want to move.

Everyone is getting very impatient now, specially the dad. Yesterday I think he made her drink about 10 cups of Raspberry leaf tea lol.

Quite simply, lots of sex. Orgasm's bring on Braxton Hicks and can also trigger contractions. So the same thing that got her into this situation, can get her out.

my first pregnancy i got started with a bumpy bus ride lol i sat on the back by the evening i was in labour lol
