They don't seem very keen on getting people into hospital these days. You'd think they'd be more concerned with it being her first. Someone I know left it until she couldn't stand the pain any longer and she ended up giving birth on the way to the hospital! So much for all the ante natal classes about relaxing!

I went in to hospital when my contractions were a minute apart, and I got well shouted at for leaving it so late!

Well it gets worse!!!

They went in last night because the contractions were getting painful and 5 minutes apart!!

they sent her back home and said " drink plenty of pineapple juice" WTF lmao.

She was meant to be induced tonight at 6pm, so wouldn't you just have thought they would have got things going there and then??

Do you think they may have been short staffed last night..........HMMMMMMM

You know they say that stress is not good for an unborn baby and then they do just about everything designed to get the mother stressed! Wrong if you go in too early, wrong if you go in too late! Sheesh! They can't win. Hope all goes well for her today but don't expect inducing to work instantly. I've known one had to be induced for several days before she would budge! :scared:

Her mum just text, she is 3cm dilated thats without having to be induced because she was in labour all yesterday.

I'm sat here waiting for news and nothing is coming!!!!!! i don't even think I was this nervous with my own lol.

I think i'm more nervous for my friend, cos this is her first grand child and she has never been their at a birth before. I know what I would be like if my baby was having a baby!!!
