| Oh Padiham Lass I do feel for you. I have never been through that experience myself but I have a friend and a family member who has and I know the mixed range of emotions that go along with it. There will be a whole heap of new things to come to terms with but if you can continue to feel positive it does help to get through it. I know it's a different situation but when my first husband died I think I got through it all because I was so angry with the hospital over the way they treated (or didn't treat) him that the adrenalin off that kept me going. My friend said what helped her was realising that he was the one with the problem not her and that she wasn't failing him in some way but he had failed her. Prior to that she'd been soul searching and asking herself where she went wrong and what could she have done to keep him. Once she decided it was him who was lacking she decided she didn't want to keep him after all and was proud of herself for being able to make that decision.

| I moved to canada and now i have no stress whatsoever, our neighbours are moose coyotes and gophers theres virtually no crime and people leave there doors unlocked .its a way more laid back lifestyle where we can relax on our deck or go out too the lake on the boat and watch the sunset on the lake.we can see the northern lights dancing across the sky too and everything is just peaceful nothing to get stressed about no traffic jams no massive lineups at the tills in shops,so im glad we left the rat race. |

So there we have it... move to canada to beat stress.. Of course you realise now that the entire stressed out population of England will be moving to your next door. ![]() I've found I got/stressed at work. Not 'real' stress but general stress. Once it was badish though with chest pains and such but mostly it was normal (yet horrible) stress. I've found having stuff to do outside of work helps me alot. I stop focusing on stuff I HAVE to do and can now see stuff I WANT to do. |

| In fact... I'm currently on a stress at how slow my computer is being. I suspect its something to do with this forced windows upgrade I'm being made to have. I would write them an email explaining the problems I'm having and asking for help but I think I'll have more luck getting through to them if I write a short message on a yellow "post it" note and stick it onto my monitor. *sigh* |

| Canada sounds wonderful. I would love to love somewhere so peaceful and calm. Failing that I'd really love to live in Morecambe, overlooking the bay. We stayed in a B&B there last weekend and the view was fantastic. We were right on the top floor with a panorama of the bay and Lakeland hills.
