Hairy baby girl is talk of town

Well, I don't know about your kids, but one of mine was born with a full head of almost black (my colour) hair, about 3 inches long. So I see nothing unusual about this. My other daughter was born with no hair, and had none till she was a year old. She now has the most wonderful, multi-coloured thick, lustrous hair.

We all have very thick hair in my family, the men not going bald at all when older. My daughter had short spiky hair when born, her new son is similar.The " hairy "baby is so bonny!I think its a genetic thing thats all! nothing to worry about.

My eldest daughter was born with a thick head of hair too and didn't lose any. It did dramatically change colour overnight when she was a few months old though and then she ended up with blond hair which had about an inch of dark brown at the ends! Looked really odd and people thought I had dyed it.

My youngest daughter was born bald and remained so for months.

I wouoldnt mind that much hair as mine is disappearing faster than the ice caps. My daughter had a fine covering of blonde hair which has only started to darken over the last few years and she likes it long like her aunt.

Reece was born with two tone hair, it was dark at the back and blonde on top, my niece on the other hand was born bald and didnt have hair at all till she was 3 and a half

My cousins little girl was born with a full head of thick very dark brown hair & it was all over the place , She went 1 in june & has now hardly any hair & is golden blond ....
