I'll see if I can locate one of those deodorant crystals, although I very rarely wear shoes - I even end up with whiffy feet when wearing sandals. In the house I'm always barefoot, can't stand to have shoes on and kick off sandals as soon as I come in.

Willow....get yourself some Crocs.....Accy market have been selling the Mock Crocs......they are a boon for whiffy feet.
They are anti-bacterial, antifungal, orthopaedic design, so good for your feet...and best of all they can be shoved in the washer......they also have a profusion of air holes.
They look like palstic, but they are made of something called crosslite....warm in winter, cool in summer.
My sister brought me mine over from OZ and I love them.

Well neice shaz, actually ...
Mix 2 level teaspoons gelatine into half glass of fruit juice or cold water, or a mixture of both. Drink at once (Ugh!) Repeat daily for 6 weeks or longer... best of British .. suppose has to come from inside out really.

Bit like what Kiki was suggesting with the jelly, so maybe summat in it.

I find now, that the calcium tablets work or HRT .. but you too young a sprogg for those.

Keep off the false things too .. look horrendous anyway >>>>>>>> better exit quick. LOL

Would love some but my feet won't go in them because they swell up like cottage loaves. I'm still going for tests to find out what causes it but I'm really limited as to what footwear I can wear. My shoes are a man's size 7 and my sandals are those with the velcro straps and sometimes the velcro barely meets! At times the water retention is bad in my fingers and hands too. I shall have a look if they do these Mock Crocs in Willow size! :Banane01:

Try using an old toothbrush if you have dry flaky lips. Its something I suffer with, gently use the brush to exfoliate then apply lip balm...... works wonders!

Willow, they do the Mock crocs in Men's sizes....they are made broad and roomy anyway...that is the design of the things.

When I first got my Crocs.... hubby hated them, which made me wear them all the more (being an obstinate article)....now he has a pair himself, he can see why I like mine. Actually i think he just didn't like the colour of my crocs.......they are the most vivid pink you could wish to see.

I hope you get to the bottom of your water retention soon.

Hey, am not an Auntie and no chance of that. Might consider adopting you at some stage .. if you promise to behave. LOL. In the meantime, a recipe from me mum from her cookery book she wrote for me .. stop me if you have read it before:-

Hand Cream

2 oz. Glycerine
2 oz Rosewater ... both these in one bottle

1 oz Spirits of Camphor
1/4 oz. Gum of Tragacarth
Juice of 1 Lemon
Gill Water.

Let Gum of Tragacarth (or Tragacanth .. sorry, can't quite read her writing and no longer with me to ask) stand in spirits of Camphor overnight, then add rest of ingredients.

Squelches a bit when you rubbing in if I remember, but does work.

Me?I prefer to use a Nivea 'anti-ageing' only because it contains SPF's ..stops those 'liver spots' which is just sun damage.
