Anyone else get this when tired? Last few nights, I've been getting it in my hands and arms the last few nights, it's driving me mad.

Yeh now & again more so when over tired, though dont seem to have had them in my hands & arms

other than ache if i've over done it with them hehehe:bounce:

I get it a lot in my legs but once every blue moon in my hands. My sister once got me some peppermint soothing gel from Body Shop which I found helped a lot, but I keep forgetting to go and get some more lol.

I have been told iron defficiency is the most common cause but not sure if thats true, nor have I ever asked the doctor !!

I thought it was more down to bad circulation, my feet being horrendous for it & tends to get more restless & sore than owt else, used to have peppermint soothing gel when pregnant with my 1st for swelly ankles & for circulation, they sell it at boots too thats where i got mine from, if u dont fancy shopping in the body shop hehehehehehe

No, it's not. No cause has been found other than it's a neurological disorder

also had this for over twenty years now, worse time was SIX full hours of it while flying, best relief i know is plunging your feet in cold water (but not recommended while flying!)

I've started getting it in my arms and it's gets worse in bed.

I haven't had it for a while but it's very frustrating isn't it? I tend to shake my legs about violently to try to shake it off which doesn't go own well with Busman (My other half who I think may have defected over here once when AccyWeb was down.) I don't have circulation problems as such but I do have horrendous water retention and funny knees. I think I'm cracking up.

forgot to add, years ago they used to prescribe quinnine tablets for this, but dont any more for some reason, though did buy some in australia and they do help, though my sister said they dont help her symptoms

That could be why some people recommend drinking tonic water then.

My doctor suggested it, but too many side affects.
