 slugs!!!!!!! can anyone please offer any advice on how to stop slugs coming into my house?? i come downstairs in the morning and there are slug trails all over the carpet - i've tried putting a line of salt around the outside of the house where they seem to be coming in but it hasn't made any difference. also, this may seem stupid but will the slug trails be harmful in any way to my little 7 m0nth old who rather likes crawling round the floor?             |

| I had to fill up all the gaps, even the very small ones that look as if a slug could never get through it, coz they can. Also use slug pellets & salt in the gaps before filling them. (just keep it away from t' toddler). Salt, salt & more salt. You get to the stage where you come down at 2-3Am, to catch them & pour salt on them & watch them squirm :D |

| draw a circle in salt around them lol i hate them they are so nasty especially when you stand in them (vomits)

| we get loads of snails in cleveleys ,especialy when it rains ,,,,they seam to like the dark ,,i think salt is the best cure ,but i have seen them crawl into nicks in the skirting boards... ants are another problem .

| me too .you wouldent think they would suvive at the seaside because of all the salt water ,,but i think i would rather see a slug than a mouse or a cockroach ......

| Yes GC when I lived in Blackpool if any food was left out you would have swarms of ants all over, why is it that ants live near the seaside? Quote:

| Did have a choice Digsby, lived in Blackpool 12 months, but decided to come back to Burnley, Cleveleys is a lot nicer than Blackpool, just got to be quick when your'e shopping to dodge the invalid scooter things!;) Quote:
