Default Death in the family.

It is with a sad heart that I announce that we have had a death in the family.

"Shadow", our hamster has passed away, IMO he died of neglect.

I don't think he was touched during the hols & I have been wondering what the smell in the kitchen was for the past 2 days.

Now the smell has gone, along with one of the most friendly hamsters that I have ever known.

He would climb all over you and has never bit anyone (well, maybe once after someone had been eating sausages with bare hands).

We have decided that the kids are not having another hamster, they let them all die this way.

However, this leaves a hamster cage, wheel, house, bottle, play tunnels etc.
If someone wants it I'll wash it out & you can collect it.
Otherwise I'll throw it away.

Sniff, Sniff.

Thankyou, My daughter who was his owner, decided that she does not give a monkeys, didn't want to bury it like we have done with the others & that it can go in the bin :(

Still, now we have some space on the counter.
