Arrow BOOT FAIR

i love boot fairs has any one here been or like going to boot fairs.have you bought a bargain or bought a flop......
i bought a ride on lawn mower was for £175 but i haggled and got it delivered for £80 which was great (last year)but it is too big for the garden now as we built an aivery and swimming pool in the rear of the garden .And bottom half of the garden i have just slabbed and started putting a 13'x9.5'dog run with a shed in it so i have no use for the ride on mower now (its going in the friday-ad for sale) i bought a beautiful colour television.......brought it home plugged it in....BOOM £35 down the drain.......very cautious about electrics now so i invested in a car inverter that plugs into your cigerette lighte and you can plug tvs.playstation .all sorts of electrics in.....(good investment and cheap too)

Is the market charter being scrapped then Burnley Lad?

Are all the marketers going to agree to this?

Hopefully it will happen & will be good, some local car boots.

I'm not the sort of person lucky enough to find a bargin, but where I worked we had a jumble sale and a lady I used to work with bought two very unloved and tatty old witches for about 50p,they turned out to be the very first items that Pendalphin made before they made Rabbits,I know she paid to have them restored back at the factory and if she still as them they will be worth far more than 50p! :)

There is a bloke in my dept that always goes to them, he collects all sorts.
However, he does get some very good stuff for peanuts.

At the mo he is collecting pens, Expensive Parker ones etc (or whatever makes) and has quite a few that are expensive that he only paid pennies for.
He wants a pen restoring book next :D
Along with his collections of microscopes etc.
he's a worse collector than me, I don't get to go to the boot sales, er indoors won't let me :(
