| Top Gear is the only programme I can't miss, unfortunatly the dark days are here again...ie, it's not on at the moment! The current format is the best ever, with it's emphasis on interesting cars as opposed to MPV's, Diesel's and eurobox's. Ok, so we might not be able to afford Ford GT's or even be able to spell Koenigseg(!), but being able to see them thrashed round an airfield at full bore and filmed beautifully is good enough for me. The presenters are good too, Jeremy Clarkson and his opinionated style is just right - even if he picks on the little guy! I'm in agreement with Wayneyboy on there being too many reality shows, cheap telly - and it shows, somebody must watch them though, it's all about viewing figures after all... I've got to say, terrestrial tv does seem to have suffered since digital came out, I'm trying to hold out 'till they have to give me a digibox when the analogue system is shut down lol.

| I wouldn't want to swop the licence for subscription, as it's not just tv that's funded by it. Wish the BBC would not copy other stations formats and put them in direct competition - really cuts down the choice available to watch. I think Channel 4 has also lost it's way a bit, used to get allsorts of minority stuff on there, sports/interests etc...anyone remember that 'sport' played in India? can't remember the name...looked like tig..!!!

| Snowy is there a good mix of telly? I've never been to Canada or the US but they say that there are loads more tv stations to pick from,Col some people buy a digibox for about £50 and get to see more channels, you don't pay any fees after that. |
