IPOD, Laptop £20 deals ???

Hiya everyone, I was just wondering about the websites that are around that offer items such as laptops and ipods for £20.

They work by you buying software (or something) for £20 and then you are added to a list, when enough people have bought the software the person at the top of the list gets an item of there choice and the next person becomes top of the list.

At first look this obviously looks like a scam but many people say that they are infact genuine offers.

Has anybody on this site participated in one of these offers? and if so did you receive the item?

You can get these type of offers on ebay,but how long before you have to wait before your turn.

A mate of mine was taken in by these scams, he paid £20 for a CD of rubbish & ended up never getting his phone.
He even paid again for his son & wife to be on it and still didn't get owt.

They are a pyramid type scam, best to steer well clear.

ok thanks ! They really do look like scams but when you look at the lists there are so many people participating its hard to beleive they have all been taken in without proof that it is genuine !

Not worth the hasle of losing £20 in the hope of getting some tat.
I do not partake in anything like that on the internet as there are hoaxers and scammers everywhere you look.
Steer clear!
