I,ve dug this back out of the vaults because it appears that Wayne Rooney is being dropped by football schools because he sets the kids a bad example!
do you think thats right?
he is a good player, but I think he's got to grow up a lot! you can tell what he's saying to the ref and he seems to have a temper, kids will look up to him and copy him!

Rooney is a good player, but should learn to keep his mouth shut on the field.
Children would only start to copy him.

I think the school's football people are justified in not wanting Wayne Rooney at their 'do' whatever, there's plenty of footballers who are good role models, but you don't make the headlines for sportsmanship and conducting yourself in a gentlemanly manner.
WR might think again about some of his outbursts in future after this, he's still young after all.

A good word for footballers now, Chelsea were training at Blackburn Academy last night (not that it did them any good) and world went round like wildfire, my nephew along with every other kid off the estate went round and the players came out, had a natter with them all and shook hands with them, and while were at it, was Liverpools goal really a goal?

The goal will cost Chelsea about £34milloin Ollie, thats how much winning last night ment, why can't they put something in the ball that when it goes over the line it makes a buzzer go off or something?

Its a puzzling thing they can do it in tennis and i dont know if its rugby union or league they will stop the game to look at video replays so perhaps its time it was fetched in for football, could be good or bad depending on who you support, at least it would put an end to all the disputes, then what would we talk about, half the fun in footy is arguing about the ref's descisions after the game:)
