Wayneyboy! you were mentioning Sam Hannah earlier on this thread! I have seen some of his films one was filmed following dustbin men around in the fifty,s and another one a brush factory! The first one that i remember seeing was filmed around the Rosehill area and all the bins had in them were ashes! Far tune from todays rubbish ,cant remember where the brush factory was? Also i remember a film about a man who was a traveller who wrote books and was a Artist from Todmorden His name I think was Will Holt and he rode about Burnley on a white horse, he used to frequent the Woodman and tie his horse up outside.This was in the sixtys when i was a girl! Going back to Sam who was a woodwork teacher at the same school my Dad taught at which was Holy Trinity! my Dad taught Scripture and Latin.Sams son follows on now from his dad showing films, as his Dad passed on several years back but not sure if he still does? Anyone Know?

Used to watch a kids show called clapper board with Chris Kelly.It was a kids version of film 2004.
They did a show about Sam hanna. He lived near Coalclough lane I think.

One day Kiki you may be taking Col's. Most of the trades Sam filmed have long gone.
Used to enjoy Fred Dibnah as well,it's a good job they made those sorts of films to show us young ones how they used to live and work.
