I got a new lap top but not got it online yet so still using the PC. The lappy is Vista, not sure how keen I am on it but once I do get online I'll persevere.

Quite different, everything is somewhere else, but I love it. However, it may not work with your peripherals.

I'm just hoping I'll be able to do my designs on it and then I can always transfer them onto the shared hard drive.

You should be able to, if your software is up to spec, however, you may need an update.

I have a laptop with vista Willow and it works just fine, although I only changed to the laptop when I moved into the 21st century by changing to broadband last Feb. I tried to change to broadband years ago with freeserve(before it changed to Wanado and again with AOL but it just wouldn't work). Then I got a call from BT saying that my line had been upgraded to take broadband, I signed up and heypresto everything went great, I now just used the wireless conection and I have no probs at all

I want to get this one linked up to 3 PCs, 2 other laptops and router and everything else is on XP. I have heard tales of woe from others who tried to do it, so waiting until a clever man is standing by to bail me out.
