Have you any birds in your garden they will eat most things potatoes cut up bacon ,bread, as well as the stuff you can buy. what kind of birds do you get.

We have had a robin, starlings, blackbirds and 5 white pigeons today. I put a mixture of birdseed out as well as bread.

We have been feeding the birds quite a bit.....we have robins, Blackbirds, sparrows, blue tits, bullfinches, magpies and a couple of greedy starlings.
We bought some dried worms(ugh, I can't touch these)they are marketed for birds but the birds don't seem to eat them....they seem to prefer the wild bird seed and the bread.
Maybe we should have soaked the worms or something.

The starlings have been eating some leftover parkin this morning , until the greedy rooks came down to demolish the rest ! Hopefully i shall save the fat off the rib of beef today for them.
