Cannot wait for the solstice. My hubby has been one miserable bugger, he's suffers so badly with SAD.

It was Friday night the 21st/22nd, days are getting longer now, so he should start to feel better.
SAD is horrible, I get depressed until the days start to lengthen.

So it was, losing track.

I got him a light box, bit late but at least it will be here for next year. He likes it, too soon to tell if has done any good. He is also down because of the loss of our cat, he adored her. I was quite jealous at times, so I don't think we will see the results till next year.

He's a big beefy guy, but melts around animals. The gentlest man I have ever known.

I'm not making light of the condition, but I seem to suffer more during the run up to summer months, then when we reach mid September, I feel more cheerful. I know SAD normally affects people during the long dark winter months, but that's when I feel more at ease and cheerful.
