I don't know if it's SAD but I do know I feel happier in summer and I hate gloom but that's because I find it harder to see things in twilight type conditions.

Me too! my energy is sapped during the dark winter months.
When Spring comes i come alive again and love the Spring. Im sure if i was a animal i would hibernate.
Taking of animals there has been a lovely programme on the telly on channel five tonight about a guy who is living in a remote part of Alaska( six months of the year)Making friends with wild bears that visit him in his chalet, the black bears are lovely and friendly towards him, but the grizzly has changed and bitten his hand! It was lovely to watch someone interacting with the bears.
