Default HOOLIGAN KIDS...AGAIN!!

Well it seems that silly season has started again!! About 20 kids aged between 12-16 were on the rampage between 8-9pm last night..ruining what they could, in my garden only my fence was broken despite attempts to break more! They climbed on cars, threw stuff etc and all whilst being watched by all of us they were tormenting! Not even a flinch they thought it was hilarious. The police were called but i dont think they came to be honest.
Does anyone else suffer with this sort of thing?
Incidentally, this isnt the stereotypical council estate or bad area. This is a quiet part of town where mostly pensioners live or young families. Problem kids come from so called "good" families and "good" areas too.

yes i get this aswel sometimes bit early for it to start round here yet though.police hardly ever come here either. but then again i live on the "stereotypical council estate" round here its the private rented properties not the council estates that have the bad areas.

We had a big gang of kids at one time hanging round the off licence near us,to be honest they never did anything other than look intimidating(15 plus teenagers)but it goes on,last year a shelterd housing complex I go to in my job was the target of young yobs who thought it was dead funny to scare old people some of which were over 90yrs old,as one old man said if he was just 20yrs younger he'd have tried to sort em out! Another said at there age they was working! I just think kids or is it young adults? should be MADE to respect others and learn one way or another, sometimes talking just is'nt enough!

my son is 13 and he doesnt do anything like that and he has been brought up in a "council estate" most of his life its nothing to do with where they live its the upbringing and their parents. if they are taught to respect others and respect other peoples property they will be ok. i know for a fact my kids wouldnt do that kind of thing as they have respect for people and ive brought them up correctly.

T.B people who think it's just kids from "council estates" are only to blame are blind and stupid, anyway whats wrong with living in one anyway? Some kids get tard with the same brush not all kids are gits, but the ones who make trouble need to know they will be SORTED out,now it's politically incorrect but some need a good clip round the ears!

.

..isnt that a bit derogatory towards council estates ....people cant help where they live some people are not as fortunate as others ......i live in between the "posh" area and a "councill estate" and ive got to say that i know some of the kids and they are all as bad as ech other.....

as TB says it isnt the area that they live in its the way they are brought up .....

couldnt agree more wayney. there has always been a stigma that if you live in a council house then your bad.the stigma wont go but people need to realise a lot of these kids are from well to do families who dont have time to spend with their kids,so they buy them all the gear they want to keep them quite and send them off out with their mates to get out of parents hair.ive seen this so much parents are busy doing whatever kids are in the way buy them something keep them quiet and let them out til all hours just so they have peace. why bother having them in the first place if you cant be bothered to teach them right from wrong and show them the love and respect they deserve?

a lot come from areas to cause trouble in other places.i know the ones who sometimes hang round here arent actually living round here.

It is only going to get a lot worse in the future, now a days teenagers who have been brought up with very little values or respect for anything or anybody are now having children, The kids of the future are not going to have no good role models.

exactly. us parents need to be parents and make these kids respect like we did.i wouldnt of dared done the things these kids do nowadays.i had respect for people but nowadays they are left to smash windows, steal, drink, take drugs, and they get away with it more often than not as the police dont seem to be able to stop it.

i know people who do this vandalising and stuff.id never dream ofdoing stuff like that, but the people who i thought were my "mates" decided to go off the rails. they are terrorising the elderly people, they tried putting an elderly guys window through because they thought hed called the police on them, they smash windows, and they totally vandalised a car. i am sick and tired of this happening, and they expect people like me to lie for them because we are mates. the ringleader, actually had the cheek to say that as iv been brought up to respect others, and that vadailism is wrong,id been brought up the "g*y"(dnt wanna get in to trouble) way, and that its stupid to be good, and you have to be bad to be a proper kid. the area is going downhill fast, and i know what the outcome will be. its kids like this that give the rest of us a bad name.

i only said stereotypical for that reason...i know that this stuff goes on in all areas but the powers that be make stupid assumptions that it only goes on in council house areas which is rubbish!! In fact i often think that some of the worst kids come from the best families because the parents are too obsessed with their own lives than the lives and upbringing of their kids which really annoys me!!
