Well while we've had a week of torrential down pours and storms, I've been informed regularly on a daily basis, much to the amusement of German friends that they've been in the middle of a heat wave!

One of them said it was going to be 30 degrees here in England today (:Banane34: woohoo I thought! Does he know something I don't? Is this the start of a summer) ........ then he said "Yeah, that's 15 degrees in the morning 15 in the afternoon" ...... :donut: I could have throttled him !!!

Woke up to beautiful sunshine this morning though and fingers crossed it just gets better :please: ..... I just hope those Germans get the the awful weather I asked mother nature to send their way :eyebrows: :yelrotflmao:

Came back on Monday after spending 10 days in Turkey were weather was fantastic if not a bit warm, but can cope with that. Came home in a great mood but after two days of rain felt really misserable. Just glad we had sunshine and warmth today, but don't want tomorrow to come after reading the weather warnings.

I was told at 7.30am (yes thats am) that there was severe weather warnings for accrington and northwest. I had a waterproof coat in my bag and wearing my fleece - walking round preston this morning and early afternoon everyone was wearing t shirts and tank tops, fellas in their shirt sleeves, teenagers in shorts. You couldnt half tell we had sun and it was warm - and no rain.

Now looked on weather forecast and its supposed to rain - yeah if it was supposed to rain thurs where was it - someone else must have got it then not us.
