What made you laugh today ?

Just copying Poppy's thread on ' What wound you up today'..which is great .. can have a really good moan on there with nobody being judgemental.

Just thought would be lovely to share your smilie moments, however trivial, during the day too.

Mine is very trivial today. Whilst watching Corrie, bit of dialogue whereby Kirk has had to give up his kennels, cause he sent the wrong dog to be neutered to the vets LOL, and now working as a butcher. Chesney remarks summat like "Big change from keeping dogs to cutting animals up" .. Kirk answers with his dead pan look : "Yeh, but a lot quieter"
Sometimes the script writing is brilliant, wonder if I have a warped sense of humour though at times.

Just been on an activity weekend with the kids from the school I work at - watching some of them attempt an assault course, raft building canoeing and many other things have made me laugh lots.
Although they would probably say watching me do the same activities was funnier!

Aaah, that's lovely chaser, what childhood is all about, good on you, sure they had lots of laughter too. Always one who finishes up in the water, isn't there ? that used to be my son !!... good thing was, could always laugh at himself too.

Nowt much for me today, 'cept watching the ducks at work, and one duck who was being chased off by the others trying to hide behind a 5" thick post thinking he couldn't be seen. Went round and round this post several times, before he realised and flew away .. yes, was a drake:donut:

Also Digsy .. think he is on the wrong thread .. try Poppys .. but made me laugh anyway. (no, not having to wait in or owt)

One of our cats leaping up to sit on my knee, only realising too late that I wasn't sitting down so there was no knee for him to sit on! There was a momentary pause as he reached the peak of his leap, his ears went back and his eyes went wide - then he fell straight back down again! :laugh:

OMG it must be a mad cat day or something!!!! My cat went to sit on the dining room window tonight. He totally missed judged it and fell off, looked around as much as to say " hope no one saw me do that" :becky::becky::becky:

Over the weekend we had to drain our petrol lawn mower, and we put the oil and petrol mixture in an old cat tray to evaporate. I was pretty sure neither of our cats would go near it as it stunk. WRONG! Hubby came in from work at 1am this morning with one under his arm. Rosie is mostly white, but all four paws were totally black. We washed her best we could, she looks like a large drowned rat at the moment, and my husband is covered in great big scratches.

What made me laugh was when someone at work said ' make sure nobody lights a match near that cat'.

LOL im having quite a chuckle at my feathered friends whom i think managed to be loud enough to send an SOS to all the wild birds outside, there was a line of wild birds perched on the not so big bush outside facing at the window right at me

The 2 guys that turned up over my GCH boiler and decided they will put in a new one over my washing machine. This would be fun because the vent would go straight into the kitchen next door. Didnt enlighten em as the council dude was so full of himself. :thumb:
