Portuguese Police Rescue Girl, 11

Portuguese police have rescued an 11-year-old girl from Eastern Europe they believed had been kidnapped in Spain.

A police spokesman said officers arrested the driver of a car with the girl inside after a high-speed chase in the tourist region of the Algarve near the Spanish border.
The girl was believed to have been taken from the back seat of her parents' car while they were at a party in Malaga in the early hours of Saturday.
Portuguese police are also searching for a four-year-old British girl, Madeleine McCann, who was snatched from her apartment in a popular resort in the Algarve 16 days ago.

I do agree with you there, would never have crossed my mind to leave my sons when they were younger, only people i left mine with was family members!

OMG, another snatching in Portugal. Thank goodness she was found though.
Why on earth was she left on her own though, especially with what has happened to little Maddie.

Well it's good to know they got this child back but it does seem careless of the parents in view of what happened to Maddy McCann. It seems even less logical to leave a child in a car than in the apartment. Were they perhaps thinking that if they took her with them in the car she would be safer after a child had been stolen from an apartment? You'd have thought they'd make sure she was being watched by an adult though wouldn't you?

Lets hope we soon hear they same good news about little Maddie.

It's less logical (in my eyes) to leave a child in a car, as there would be more danger for a stranger to see them and snatch them, or pinch the car unknowingly that a child was in the car. Well, at least it had an happy ending. Fingers crossed, it will all soon be over for Maddie and she will be reunited with her family.
