Been conned by bank!

I am sooooooooooooo annoyed with myself. I should have known to take the name of the person I spoke to on the phone yesterday who promised me that I would not be charged for a certain transaction. I have been charged and now they say there is no record of any phone call yesterday.

How could I have been so trusting and so stupid not to take the name of the person I was speaking to?

Wouldnt blame yourself Willow something some of us would of trusted also, i would take the matter further with the bank or bank complaints/trading standards, if they said they wouldnt charge so should that be honoured, banks are particulary bad for this & because some people wont take it further they will con their way out of it.

Apparently I have to wait until I get my statement but as there is no record of the phone call at their end (surprise surprise) they deny anyone ever said any such thing.

Today EVERYTHING has wound me up!!

Thing winding me up atm is the blumming works being done here by HH, higgley piggly, atm im having a hole drilled thro for fan - but i already have fan in the window thats now left there dis connected & they are putting in a new one on the wall:noidea:...............& the fan aint gettin fitted for a bit so guess what they have shoved in the hole to 'stop it from blowing' - half of accy observer - dont ask...... :argh:

Rubbish still at side of house grrrrr & still waiting for sparkie to least put light in the kitchen - no other leccy in kitchen for another week at least

That kind of hastle would have me banging nappers together to get it sorted. It would have driven me mad by now.

I am im harassing everybody that comes that they do the job proper & reminding them of others too, plus sick of complaining to inspector!!

Well report the Inspector for being no good at his job. I am with you Mel if a job needs to be done then its done properly and in a timely fashion will all messed cleared post haste.

Now,now Mel you should know that if their chitty says you should have a fan in the wall you will have a fan in the wall regardless of the fact that you already have a hole where your now non-working fan currently lurks.:crazy:
