What Hobbies do you have

Just wondering what hobbies you all had?

I enjoy my photography, and I love knitting .........I even have a button box lol

One thing I used to love as a child was tapestry, but it all seems to be cross stitch now.

I'd love to be able to knit, but, unfortunatly, cant.... My aunty tried to teach me many times, but she gave up, as I just couldnt get the hang of it.

My Nanny taught me to knit (she's 91 this year) and I took to it like a duck to water. But no matter how many times she tried to show my sister, my sis just couldn't get the hang of it.

It is, but I'd love to be able to knit, as I would love to be able to make Alice some cardies and jumpers, and to feel quite proud that I'd done them. I love hand knitted stuff, it makes them more personal, if that makes sense.

I can knit, crochet and used to make all my daughters dresses when she was growing up....I even recovered a sofa.....though I had never done anything so large before. (it was like eating an elephant with a teaspoon)
All my handiwork skills are self taught as I hated needlework when I was at school....and most of my prowess has been of necessity rather than anything else.
I love photography though I'm not sure I'm much good at it......I do calligraphy too......and have been known to compose the odd verse or two.

Thank you im not the only one who tried to learn and couldnt. My mum tried to teach me, school tried to teach me, my sister tried to teach me, neighbours tried, aunt tried - still couldnt flipping get the hang of it. Hate sewing as well. Can just about thread the needle and make repairs when needed!!

My hobbies are computer, reading, jigsaws, gardening, and i will admit it ive got addicted to that sudoku!!!
