Well, i have been reading books that have just come my way - Denise Robertsons and Maeve Binchy. Denise Robertson the agony aunt from this morning- "Agony? dont get me started.." is a really good read and about her life. Im looking forward to reading her novels which i have yet to order from the library. I love Maeve Binchy,s way of writing and just started reading" Whitethorn Woods" its really good! I thought Katie Prices" Crystal" good also!

I have just finished the latest CJ Sansom 'Revelation' absolutely brilliant as were the previous ones, 'Dissolution', 'Dark Fire' and 'Sovereign'. I finished it last night so now I am experiencing that, 'wish it went on longer' feeling. I don't know what I will read tonight. I love reading books, I love starting a new book, I hate getting to the end.

I always have two books on the go, my evening/bed book and my during the day sitting on trains or waiting in places read.

I don't tend to read biography (or autos) but I have been enjoying Elizabeth's Spy Master by Robert Hutchinson (about Walsingham) as my day book.

My recommendations would be the Boudica 'Dreaming' series (Dreaming the Hound, Dreaming the Bull etc) by Manda Scott. Absolutely excellent set of books. Atmospheric, brilliant in depth characters and the whole history thing with Boudica and the Romans etc. Start with 'Dreaming the Eagle'.

Next I'd recommend the 'Roman' series by Collen McCullogh again an excellent set of books.

Anyone interested in history will love these books.

I love Maeve Binchy too but I can't really concentrate to read much at the moment, too many things happening and none of them good. I have just got a copy of The Dalai Lama's Little Book of Inner Peace which I will dip into tonight.

I'm reading the 'Cocky watchman' a book on a man called Warren Curtis who is a Liverpool baron and dealer, along side Merseyside crime in general that took place in and around 1974-1998 roughly speaking.

Summat different I suppose.
