I dont fancy reading stuff about child murders,as they bother me for ages ,i tend to have three or four books on the go at the same time!

I used to be able to read three books at once, but I can't anymore......I don't seem to have the same powers of concentration anymore.

i know what you mean sometimes i go for weeks without reading then cant stop , travelling on buses , I sometimes miss my stop!

My copy is out on lend at the moment, and there is a queue for those who want to borrow it.

The other book whose name I couldn't remember....the one from Richard and Judy's reading group was 'The Interpretation of Murder'......it did nothing for me....I did persevere and read it to the end just to see what folk were raving about

Me i like Nora Roberts, Vera Cowie, Joan Jonker, Clive Cussler and Tom Clancy. Mind you ive got my order in for the new Harry Potter.
I read allsorts. Biographies, Romance, Historical, Anything that takes my fancy.

If you want a laugh and you like biographies you cant beat Jack Charltons and Dickie Birds. I read Jack Charltons and then went to see him at Burnley Mechanics. His biography was brilliant it was funny especially when hes telling about the time when he was Irelands manager. When they went to the World Cup in Italy one of the back room staff arranged for them to meet the pope and Jack went as manager and the night before he'd had a late night with team and he fell asleep! Its also about him growing up with Bobby - how everyone knew Bobby was going to be a footballer but Jack went down the mines first before he became a footballer.

Just been given a copy of 'The Lovely Bones' and read a bit. It's quite endearing despite the horrific subject.

Reading a book called 'Two Women' by Martina Cole. It's pretty dark, but shes a great Aurthor. Half way through it and I can't put it down!

I'm impatiently waiting for the new Harry Potter too. It will be strange this year though because the girls and I usually read them as a group thing but Mimi will be here at home most of the summer whilst Em and I are up at the caravan.
