I know a couple of members live in or near Portugal. I've taken this off my other website, if you can please post these wherever and whenever you can to help the search.

I hope she is found safe and well.

as much as i do feel for the parents my opinion i all this would of been avoided if they hadn't left their 3 babies alone nothing in the world would make me leave any of mine alone ever.
it so sad i hope maddie is found but something should be done about the parents leaving them alone in the first place,choosing not to use the babysitting service i just don't understand why?
if it was any other parents who had left them they would of been ponced on but because they are doctors we are supposed to forgive this?

I already got shot down for saying the exact same thing on another forum TC, I totally agree. I bet if had they not been professionals, just ordinary Joe's they would be done for neglect, I just hope they can live with themselves and what they have done, for the sake of the twins.
May all the gods bring the babe home safe.

I don't think it sounds harsh. As I said on another forum, it's beyond belief that they left them alone in the room whilst they went for a meal. They should have used the facilities available, that's what they are there for. In the cold light of day, they probably wish they had done things differently.
Even so, I don't think they deserve to be going through this, no matter what we think of what they should have done or not done, and it doesnt matter whether they are doctors, road sweepers, shop assistants, unemployed, they are still 2 parents who's child has been snatched from what they thought, a safe place.In my mind, they have done a blooming irresponsible thing by leaving 3 babies alone in an apartment, and the little girl is the one paying the price for it, and her parents will have to live with that forever.

Its so sad, i suppose in hindsight they are devestated ,,,we all do something stupid at one time or another,it just dosent turn out so tragic...

I wouldn't want to leave my baby with a stranger which is fair enough, but I wouldn't leave her in an apartment on her own, even if I was 40 yards away.
But, as Granny Claret says, we've all done something stupid at one time or another. Unfortunatly for Maddie and her parents, this is the result.
