Quick update, just got a mail from the V&A teddy curator, they lost the photos :noidea: could I send them again? so of course I have. they must be interested to bother asking me to resend them. keep you posted of developments:hippie:

Just got am email from the Victoria and Albert Museum about your bear Dave, see below. So it looks like it is much the same as the one that sold at Bonhams. For a proper valuation you would need to take it to an expert at one of the better auction houses, then they can asses condition etc:
I would just give it a big hug, he is one of the family.

Than you for sending the images. I have to say that I agree with your identification. The bear has all the characteristics of a Chiltern and the company did make a variety of musical bears. As to date, possibly late 50s or early 60s. So, really, you know as much as I do!
