I would like you all to have a nosey at www.lancashireweb.co.uk

Closed my radio comms forum down and used the hosting and forum for this instead. A more county wide feel and the chance for all local forums to work together.

Opened about 10 mins ago and feedback / input welcome. Mods being added soon, although it will not have an arcade, etc.

Only have the 2 now, and I want something to help the other local forums too so I hope it takes off. Any input welcome as to the different sections on there....... :icon_hump

If you mention it to radio lancashire, they do a spot on websites & might give mention of a local one.

A bit of a poser what to write about on there. If it is local other areas won't be interested , the only thing we have in common is the County Council and Lancashire beauty spots.

Myself I find it hard to understand how it can "help" local sites?
Surely it takes postings off of them to put them on there, people are not going to want to duplicate them.

Maybe an Ex-Pats forum would encourage Lancastrian ex-pats to post and people from that town could respond.

But if people want to talk more county wide they can, plus it can be a portal to local sites to talk about local info. I'll just see what happens. It hasn't cost me anything as I had the server and the forum, except the domain was £6.89 :jimbo:

I'll have a go putting a county wide issue on Neal and see what response there is, but I do think an ex-pats section would maybe draw people in. We have a couple on Burnley Web, so there are others out there who want news of 'home'

Well it seems to be moving along Neal, slow but steady and once people see others posting it will encourage them to join.
