Hope you are feeling better soon Brian, ive had a nasty cough for a month now ,which doesnt seem to budge. Going out for a walk later as it is such a nice day , but as we havent done much walking this year i think it wont be far!

I got up at 10 am and came to the office until now, going to Sainisbury's to buy some comfort food, strawberries and cream, some Belgium chocolate, Belgium pate and French bread, leek and potato soup and thats me for today.

It was very nice, ginger biscuits are one of my favourites I buy them at a home made biscuit stall on Todmorden market, just like my mum used to make

Packing some sandwiches, drinks, blanket, football etc and heading over to Barley with my hubby and little boy for the afternoon.

Hi Angel

Use to go there with my mum when I was little, you could tickle trout in the stream that runs through the village, after that we went to a boating lake about a mile away in a small hamlet, can't remember what its name is I think it is Roughlee?

Brian, We used to go up there too, I remember walking there many a time with my parents then paddling in the stream, i have some photos of my sister and I paddling in Roughlee stream...... happy days!

If I remember rightly there used to be a garden café on the road from Barley, as you turned right to wards Roughlee and in the stream lower down before Roughlee there used to be a waterfall, as you say happy times

Been on an easter egg hunt at Gawthorpe today, it was good fun and we didnt get too wet!

Been potting up the Sunflowers in two big pots. 6' canes as instucted. Clear plastic bottles over the top to keep 'em warm. Will post pic's if they are brill, if not I will keep quite.
