What you planting?

My pots are overgrown with weeds, but its been to cold for me to go out!I hope to plant some African Lilly,s and Sea Holly . May sew some seeds indoors, but will have to get a move on as there,s lots of preparation to be done!

I've got to weed the front garden - it hasnt been touched for 18months. Last year i wasnt in the mood but i will have to tidy it up - i got lilies, peony's, roses, and god knows what else in there and then in the pots at the back i've got stawberries, purple shamrock and a big hosta. In the back garden ive got a red robin, a chocolate tree, and lavendar thats overgrowing, 2 azaleas, a lavatera and a miniature rose tree (the other one died). Besides that ive got two big gardens to mow as well.

Do not weed outside yet as these weeds/plants will be back twice as strong, wait till you plant, and weed and plant behind them, 2 jobs done in one operation.:please:

As I work full time and hate gardening (just lazy really), took heed of a flyer that came through my door. A new enterprise by a young woman from Gt. Harwood .. how cool is that !

She is coming to see my little bit of England tomorrow night .. can't be any worse than some of the male ones I've had.

I'd love to know more about gardening and which plants to put where etc, so if anyone has any tips I'd be very grateful!

well hubbys just dug all my ground down the allottment and covered it till we get back off hols in 2 weeks when my dahlias and gladioli ,gyp,and numerous other flowers will be going in ready for summer...... had some lovely daffs already and tulips coming up nicely now so fingers crossed ..

We only have pots and tubs ,but all the daffs and tulips are in full bloom,,,,

only prob with my tulips they look like sidgets ones .......and im sure they should be taller than they are...heehee

Feels lovely now the clocks have gone forward, mowing the lawn at 6pm. I love this time of year :nice:

I spent a full day on Monday putting new compost in my pots and splitting the existing plants up. Some honesty seeds i will sew soon indoors. I like these flowers that you can cut and dry for arrangements or to draw them! . If you have put new plants in already cut off the bottom of a large plastic bottle and cover tender shoots with them ( this will protect them from the frost) :typing:
