Son is going to UNITY COLLEGE

Just found out that my son is going to be going to Unity in sept so we are realy pleased.

Letters are not due to arrive untill tomorrow morning but if you filled out application on line your offer is there to see now.

It must be a relief to get your lad into the school you wanted. I feel a bit sorry for those folk who are at the mercy of a raffle to get the place they want.

Unity college is what was previously called Towneley High School on Towneley Holmes ,Burnley :dogrun:

All these changes are a bit confusing, mind you I cant even get my head round the school years these days! When I was it school it was 1st - 4th year juniors then 1st -5th year at senior school :noidea:

I new it well, as i lived near thereand when the building was empty We used to shout in the fields on "Big billy"(the hill there)
and hear the echoes! :thumb:
