One of the best books I've read about lanky twang was a book by Bill Tidy the cartoonist who used to draw Andy Capp,it was called Lancy spoken here, it was a guide for non-lancy's and in one bit told all about meal times,"dinner is at dinner time and not in the evening,if you want lunch it's dinner, if you want dinner it's at teatime,tea time is a time for dinner and not tea.Are you with me??"

Digsy if you read the saturday daily mail (bit too tory for me) but they have good articles and one explains things like the term "Dulaly tapped" and other such terms.
