Dellym, you can detect a southern accent when I'm putting on my posh voice meeting a woman for the first time... lol

But I do use a lot more lanky speak than many that I know have been born here.

A friend of Carlo,scame to stay when we lived in Burnley, he wanted some cigarettes from the shop i gave him direction,s and he couldnt stop laughing at this! "I told him go across the road and up the ginnel!"He hadnt any idea what that was as he was an Eastender! :) :lol:

well i do !!,its a littlle passage ,usually cutting through a street so that you dont have to go all the way round the houses ,in other words a short cut (you dont have to go round nelson to get to padiham ) witch is another saying lol

the only reason that the sign is like that is because we are a private coucil run by ourselves and not by lancashire county council ...thus meaning they have cut all ties with blackburn ...stupid yes ...but still in lancashire pal ...the map boundries say so .... ;) :D
