I phoned Roy at 10-30pm last night to let him know the server not the site had been hacked i forgot the time diff as Roy is in Siberia at the moment and they are 5 hours in front which made it 4-30am (Sorry Roy hehe) anyway the site is backed up every day but he cant get access to a internet connection at the moment the site is ok its just a security issue at the moment but knowing Roy things will be back to normal soon

Is the temp site up and running yet? I can't get onto it, i just get a screen saying "Unable to connect to database server" ????

It looks like they got in through the flash chatroom software so there must be a security flaw in it somewhere unless Tinks,Slinky know anything about it they are allways in there upsetting someone hehe

Yeah the old software had some security issues. Once the site is updated he should be okay.

At the end of the day, nothing is 100% secure and someone with the right knowledge and tools can hack into anything. Just make sure you keep a good backup saved onto the PC or other hardware as Roy has done.

It's down again at the moment, just keep trying. We may be setting up a new site for temp use later this evening which is on a new server depending on what Mick or Roy want to do.

You are more than welcome to use Burnley & Pendle in either case....
