The Muslims I work with say it's not a bad thing, and probably a valid point.

They should be removed. Hoodies can't go in some shops, and nor should they be allowed. These women's faces should be clearly shown on every passport, driving license and at any security point. If they refuse, lock 'em up. Prat's!

Why can't those that agree so wholheartedly with Jack Straw and are fed up with these never ending moans and growns, demontrate too. I live too far from Blackburn, but I would love to see counter demonstrations to these non conforming, ever complaining and terminally offended aliens.

civilised men remove their hats when entering someones house or work place,

not seen now, but women would remove their scarves,

out of politeness and common decency,

I think this is what he was getting at.

Good point! going off topic but still with politics which baffles me. Tony Blair talking this morning outside Downing Street in a downpour, with mug in one hand and brolly in tother. Behind is a policeman with rolled up sleeves and not even a coat on in the rain! read into that?

Let's get it in perspective if that is their way fair enough, I personally think Jack Straw was trying to get some brownie points seeing that gaffer's job's up for grabs, I remember seeing a demomstation passing our house I thought it were there way of Morris dancing, till my mate Shaffi wised me up.

You are dead right, after reading the news reports last night 11/10/06 ,this thing is getting out hand they are really milking it now.
Even Salman Rushdie has put his head on the block. One wonders what lengths they'd go to if we tried to 'impose' it on them.

What many do not seem to realise is the way these women dress is the ideal way to hide explosives, guns etc. This is what we should really be looking at. Something needs to be done very soon to either make these people conform or remove them.

Quite a few of the teeny boppers you now see around Burnley wearing veils over their faces are just doing it to annoy their parents. Its a new way of rebelling, one of which I am quite sure they will soon tire of once the novelty wares off.
