HELP!!! wood..water stains

ok..nathan has just left a wet cloth on a walnut polished wood dining table....how do i stop it from leaving permanent damage? Any tips

im not that domesticated but surely if its only wet, it will dry huh ??

in my experience of water stains they leave a permanent white mark....im hoping this doesnt as its a really nice table, my fault, i shouldve been paying attention!

sounds silly but try a hairdryer. it mite gently dry itn it mite not leave a mark

Believe it or not salad cream rubbed into a watermark will remove the white stain.

You can buy this stuff called" Ring away" its brilliant! :) it works on most solid wood then use old fashioned beeswax ,1did have an old recipe polish for wood will find it soon!
