i know many of you arent heavey metal followers but for anyone one wo is or knows anything about metal. he was guitarist for pantera but was in new band damageplan

dimebag darrell was shot dead on stage last night hers the news story

apparently the guy who killed him was a fan of his old band.the band didnt split amicably and he was left with the blame for the break up so this guy took it upon himself to shoot him.

i find it insane that he was able to get on stage and do this as every concert ive been to ive been searched before i went in.

I'm not sure if it's a rapper but one singer moves about on stage a lot to stop people from being able to shoot him,they get stalked a lot too. Ca'nt blame them for getting high walls and things.George Harrison got stabbed by a fan.

a lot of rappers eg.eminem has police and bodyguards at his shows and wears a bulletproof vest sometimes its stupid they are here to entertain us and give us pleasure and some idiot goes and shoot them???????? seriously!

it makes me think of that latino singer "selena perez" Jennifer Lopez played her in the film biopic...she was stabbed to death i think by a fan who ran her fan club!!! Its mad!!

I hadn't heard much of Damageplan's stuff, but I had a compilation cd with one of their tracks on it. Bloody fantastic.

The world has lost a great guitarist and musician.

And to reiterate - how did he get in with a gun? Is this the next area of life that will be stifled because of mindless violence?

apparently the club didnt have a metal detector its insane.

Must be me, should you need metal detectors to go to an even?. If it's happend in America it's bound to happen here as well. It's a sad world were in.
