| Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I thought we had a Socialist Government. An item on the news has made me so angry. From next year anyone who prefers to have a live in nanny for their children will receive help towards the cost of their childcare. They can receive this help provided the salary is 59K or below, why on earth should people earning that amount of money need help when there are so many other people living on the poverty line. At the same time they are lowering the amount pensioners have been able to have in combined state and works pensions to be eligble for extra personal allowance by 3K. Seems to me that there is something wrong when money is taken from pensioners to subsidise those on high salaries. ![]() |

| The problem is that this is'nt a Labour govenment it's a new labour one. Only thing is they are the best out of a very bad bunch. They should have an extra box to tic in the polls, none of em,bet it would get a lot of votes. |
