Has anybody been to see this yet? I'm in two minds about what to do..... have read the book and loved it but cant decide if i should go see the film. Anyone read the book and seen the film?

I have heard nothing but bad reviews. It has been absolutely slated and we won't bother now.

I heard it had bad reviews as well. Not to sure whether I'll go see it now, but I might change my mind!

We will probably wait for the DVD. I wish I'd read the book now, I nearly bought it so many times.

Yeah I heard the same feedback too, and people were also telling me not to see the movie. Well I didn't listen because I saw the movie in the theatre anyway. i kinda thought it was okay. Not bad, but not great either. However, I listened a few songs that were in the soundtrack for the movie. They were somewhat better than the movie. One track I did like was "The Citrine Cross" done by Hans Zimmer. Have you guys heard any songs for this movie? If so, what did you think?

Heard the books great, going to buy it soon i think but ive been told that the movie is rubbish off most people! one of my friends liked it but the rest said it just didnt compare to the book at all!

I nearly bought the book soooo many times. I've heard so many bad reports of the film, I think I will finally buy the book!

The book is really good, as id the other one that he wrote, Angels and Demons. I read them both and couldnt put them down. Read another one of his, but couldnt get into it.
You will enjoy reading the Da Vinci Code. Dont know how it compares to the film though...
