They brought back Dr.Who last year!! Should they have botherd? Do you like it?
They have spent alot more money on the show these days!
Is it worth it?
Is it passed it's sell-by-date as it's been going since the 60's?
If you don't like it why?

I quite like the new Dr'who! I don't watch it every week! but the last one I did see was quite scarey! with the return of an old foe the dreaded Cybermen!!

and Trigger from only fools and horses turned out to be their demented creator!!

Tom Baker was my fav DW!
So it's thumbs up from me!

You can,t beat the original William Hartnell,it was a lot more scary then and what made it more scary is that it was in black and white

I love it! Had thought that Chris Ecclestone was better, but Saturdays one was soooo good, maybe I don't care.

I loved the series with Chris Ecclestone but this one is a bit too, pc and the new guy is a bit limp he is too pretty for the part, I think he would be better playing a regency dandy ,or in an historical drama.
But I thought the cybermen were very scary and trig was brill as the baddy

I like the new series of Dr Who, thought the last guy was better (sorry dont know his name) but the new guys OK 2, the storylines are good and the cybermen are well scary!

David Tennant recently played Casonova in a series, and a very chilling psycho in a play, both on tv.

sorry Sweetpea I didn't see either of those, I should think he was great as Casanova.
Just not my vision of Doctor Who, its a bit like for me there will only be one James Bond (Sean Connery with Pierce Brosnan coming a close second) It's just the way you visualize them in your head. :)

Now I love Dr Who but Torchwood, I'm very disappointed with. Except for the utterly gorgeous John Barrowman

but even his character isn't a patch on the Captain Jack character in Dr Who. Were's the cheeky, witty Jack that we all know and love gone? I find his character quite dull now in Torchwood.

I think the best think that Torchwood could do, is loose the totally ir-relevant adult bits and aim at the same audience as Dr Who ...... and give us funny, sexy Jack back instead of a Mr Jobsworth!!
