Or are you thinking what will be will be!? Can we trust the safety measures that are being taken? Can this be the start of a deadly outbreak that could be passed on to us? What do you think? I'll make it a poll! I've found this on skynews.com that gives you somefacts about Bird flu! http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0...450198,00.html and this page as well! http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0...449715,00.html Last edited by wayneyboy1942; 07-04-06 at 13:19. |

| Apparently it affects the healthy more than the sick, so as I'm of ill health anyway I should be OK for a while... lol I am taking precuations though, I'm not chasing the swans when fishing, I'm not having any birds round for tea. lol |

| I ended up a bout 4 months ago minding a young Canada goose when it landed in the school playground at lunchtime, children were already aware and advised me against touching it! one of the other teaching assistants after throwing a towel over its head carried it into a shed with help from me and a teache r until after schooltime then she put it in her car boot and released it into the wild again!I guessed it had just got tired and left the flock or whatever lots of geese are called! I tried to shoo it of and ireally did say boo to a goose! |

| It's the swans that seem to be bringing it over here. Although if it's a mute swan it wont have it as they are native, it's the ones that fly from the Norway areas that do. Anyway, to stop yourself getting it stop snogging with birds.. lol |
