Not seen it yet Col.kurtz sounds good. Spam is something we do'nt eat, but I saw a war programe and spam was made for the war effort in ww2.Some adds are better than the TV progs. Anybody got a fave one? Or one you hate?Just glad Bev and Trev bogged off it realy bugged me that one.

Bev and Kev won't be missed by me either, can't think of any at the moment but I'm sure there will be plenty of irritating adverts on the run-up to Christmas...Who wants a mobile phone with video messaging? Not me thanks! now go away...

I like SPAM.

Soaked in Glug, lightly spinkled with breadcrumbs & fried on one side.
Then chopped up into little finger shapes & frozen/defrosted a few times.

Makes an excellent bait for the fish. :D

At the mo, the most irritating advert is the Honda Diesel "Make something better" one, because the tune just sticks in your head.

my favourite is the two little boys ,who act just like their dads,with their new ,cars ,specialy the one where one of them is twiddleing his hair in the mirror
and another where he is polishing the name on the back,

The ones that annoy me the most are expensive toy adverts that raise childrens expectations and can cause heartache for parents especially at Christmas time.

my fave is also the little "boy adults" advert too...i also like the panda "act natural" adverts. Thing is adverts rarely work on me as i never know what the end product is..i just like funny ads!!

have you noticed how many adverts are inticeing people to borrow money ,they are responible for so many people being in debt far beyond their means,Carol Vodamen is a bad advert for that ,a lot of gullable people think that if she says its all right,then it is. my motto has always been that if i cant afford it then i dont get it .even at xmas.G.C.

Am I right in thinking people used to go to prison for debt? Not saying I want those days to come back, but doesn't seem much incentive not to be in lots of debt nowadays...especially in business, as I've found to my cost! When a company goes under nowadays it's not that hard to get a lot of the debt written off and start a new company from scratch - leaving creditors out of pocket for services rendered.
I think people are too easily led these days, they act first and think about the consequences later - usually when it's too late.

The kid who gets a computer or whatever from the electrical shop for "FIFTY PEE" makes me laugh:D

All the fuss at the moment seems to be about the Heinz tomato ketchup being put in place of a water bottle on a guinea pigs cage. Want to bet there is some kid somewhere who gives that one a go.

There is a lot of claim ads on at the moment. A bloke falls off a ladder a lot,a women slips all the time,each time they get compo, it's £100000 plus and riseing. My Dad had it right when he said Humpty Dumpty will get a good do when they sort out who's wall it was.

the ketchup one is usually shown before n during emmerdale..its the sponser.I believe the rspca have got involved so it may be banned.
