We have a slightly mental cat called Bracken. She is very independant and vry bossy. In her mad moments she charges round the house (up and down two flights of stairs) at ninety miles an hour.

We recently put in a cat flap and it was hilarious watching her trying to work out if it was safe to use.

She has a very small vocabulary of English which includes "He'oh" (bit like a Tellytubby) for greeting us in the mornings, "Mama!" when she wants me, "NOW!" when she wants something right there and then and "mmmmm" when she's agreeing with something or pointing out what she wants (which is usually food). People don't believe me when I tell them she speaks until they hear her for themselves.

She does tend to be very anti-social though and takes a long time to get to know a new face.

Just read about Bracken! Shadow my cat sounds so similar ! lol! he too has mad moment running around and chirrup s alot. He,s the biggest Baby around but can have a very tough side too, He,s getting quite magnificent and is looking like a miniture panther!
